* based on a 36.74% Syncrude working interest.
Syncrude production in June reflects increasingly reliable operations with no major scheduled or unplanned maintenance during the month. June volumes include the drawdown of about 700,000 barrels of inventory that accumulated during the April/May coker turnaround. Second quarter Syncrude production totaled 24.1 million barrels compared with our estimate for the quarter of 27 million barrels. On April 28, Canadian Oil Sands provided annual production guidance of 108 million barrels with a range of 105 to 112 million barrels, gross to Syncrude, for 2008. The outlook reflects two coker turnarounds; the first was completed during the second quarter and the second is slated for the third quarter.
